First of all, yes, it's coin related. Every time he coaches his new team a coin will be flipped and that will determine opening possession!

Ken is celebrating as we speak and would never be one to tell the Boards anyway due to his rather demure (HA) attitude, but he was approved by his Superintendent today to coach his first HS football team in Ashland ! Just heard from his father, Mark, and here is another tribute to the power of the Boards. I have never had a chance to meet Ken, but I feel I know him like a coaching peer or a son. A gentleman, a man of honor, and a warrior. I have had many coin transactions with him and I give him the highest honors. I was schooled years ago to be a 'good wingman', and I'd be his anyday.

This is his day, and a great day for his dad Mark. He'll be a tremendous asset to his District as he influences young men. He is one of our bright lights here, a numismatist of note, and I hope he wins his first coin flip next year in the first game of 2011 !

Go Ashland!

Ashland, where? If it's here, I'll be going to one of his games next year!

I thin Ken should be 'coming around' by now. My understanding is that he has been 'celebrating' his appointment. Kudos to him . . and I hope all of you appreciate the efforts this numismatist has made behind the scenes for several of the major posters here. A real trooper . . and congrats to him for his good efforts . . . on and off the numismatic 'field'.
