Does this look real and do you think it would slab? Seems like it should already be.

    I'm not positive, but I say it's a legit VAM 5 89-CC.

  • Genuine Holder. Looks cleaned, but could just be the pictures. Are those scratch marks in between the bird and the left side of the wreath?

If the pictures are accurate, then IMO it's real and it would be graded.

Looks real, also looks cleaned. Not a bad looking coin. Probabley get a genuine based on pics. With the stated return policy and seller saying in a question and answer that it has not been cleaned I would say your safe, cause once you have it in hand you will probabley be able to see if it is cleaned. Sellers grade seems right on.

Looks like the real deal to me. Hard to tell if it has an old cleaning, or was just tilted in the light, but either way, I think it would grade, and I think the sellers grade of VF30 is accurate.

IMO it looks totally real. Also looks like it would holder at VF25 or 30.
    When in doubt, don't.

I think the seller will leave some decent bucks on the table by not slabbing it first...or he tried and BB'd or Genny'd.

I asked him the same question & this was his response:

"I have thousands of coins in my shop that I feel will grade by PCGS that I havent sent in. I am a lifetime ANA member and a PCGS member with 100% and I am a top rated seller. I am telling you, the coin is problem free."

Looks good to me and 100% original skin. That coin was not cleaned, in my opinion.

Looks ok, I don't think those marks are from cleaning.
