toning

I have a few 1987-1991 Silver Eagles that have toning on them. Two of them are fulll toning. It is a gunmetal color with a tinge of blue in them. It is an attractive coloring. The others are only partial coloring and not very attractive. Is their any preimium to such coins? Thanks.

    Since there is already a premium attached to ASEs, unless the color is really nice, I don't think there will be much of a premium added.

    I would not pay a premium for them, however, there are people that do pay for tarnish... show pictures and I am sure you will receive fawning praise and offers .... Cheers, RickO

    Some folks pay extra for some ASEs with particular color patterns, but to be honest with you the way these are described would not garner a premium from me.
