  seems like a crime spree there. Man steals cell phone, then attempts to spend unusual looking quarter...and getting spooked by the puzzled look of the cashier...flees to his makeshift home under the overpass.

  A "suspicious coin"? Did they think it was going to rob someone? Good thing it was a quarter, because if was a half dollar, they'd profiled it as a criminal and thrown it in the slammer.
