Anyone else enjoy reading neg feedback?

I know I'm losing it. I actually spend more time on eBay searching out negative feedback than I do looking at coins. Lines like, LIAR! LIAR! LIAR! FRAUD! GET A LAWYER! Have become a permanent part of the way my wife and I communicate with each other. Am I alone in this?

You need to search yahoo for some real grizzly stuff, they let them reply to replies to replies etc.

I find it interesting that of the 6 people who posted to this thread back in 2002, only one, @oreville , is still active. I hope the other 5 are still alive and wonder how many are still collecting coins...

Hopefully they found something better to do than read negative feedback.

I consider he OP of this thread, @Clankeye, to be right up there in the hall of fame for the greatest posters ever to grace this forum. Many of his threads are thought provoking, insightful, and most importantly humorous. They had a lot of fun here back in the day. I believe he's still alive and well, @mfeld may have stayed in contact.

After three decades, the thread will rise again!

Dan, I wholeheartedly agree! @Clankeye (Carl) was so funny, thoughtful, kind, intelligent, wise and thought-provoking. I don’t recall whether I posted this, but…many years ago, I was vacationing where he lived (in Portland?) so made plans to meet him for coffee, while there. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. We had already become friends through the forum, but meeting and visiting with him in person was even better - way better.
