Hey -- some of those were on memo from us! You don't own them all.

By the way -- I'm having trouble zipping up my jump suit. It must've shrunk in the wash. Yeah -- that's the ticket -- shrunk in the wash.

Ahhh - "The Trouble with Tribbles". I remember seeing that when it first ran back around 1967 or so. Didn't miss an episode.

Hard to believe that was 40+ years ago..... Now I am feeling old - thanks a lot.

Black and white and only picked up the 2 Charlotte TV stations. On a good day we could get the stations from Spartanburg, SC and Ashville, NC. Maybe by the time Star Trek was aired we had 3 stations in Charlotte.

We had a TV like that Eventually the contacts on the rotary channel dial (2-13) got so worn out from six kids spinning it all the time that Dad had to hang a pair of vice grips on the dial to turn it slightly so that the contact touched what it was supposed to.

We got four channels, the three Detroit U.S. network outlets and Channel 9 out of Windsor, Ontario. Got to watch a lot of hockey, and curling, eh? On a good day we could get Channel 11 out of Toledo with a lot of snow, which came in handy when the Lions games were blacked out locally because they couldn't sell out the games.

Every so often the TV would die, and Dad would pull the back off and take the tubes out and we'd go down to the drug store and test them.

To bring this around to a collector's way of thinking, I wonder how many prop Tribbles from the set are now in collector hands, how many survived, and what exactly they were made of, etc. (Synthetic fur? Surely not real fur). I saw a show once where they were selling memorabilia from some of the later Star Trek shows and a model of one of the spaceships went for moon money! (No pun intended).

Isn't it odd that the Moon was never mentioned during the original run of Star Trek? I suspect that the writers were afraid that something they wrote would be proven wrong by the Apollo program.

See, this Klingon called the Enterprise a garbage scow, and Scotty punched him, and then...just rent the episode from Netflix, it's easier.

    It's no tribble at all.

You can buy a voice activated tribble (and others) here.

Tribbles (Polygeminus Grex) are small, non-intelligent lifeforms originating from Iota Geminorum IV. Known for their prodigious reproductive rate, these round, furry creatures emit cooing sounds when touched, which have a tranquilizing effect on the Human Nervous System.

Born pregnant, with sufficient food a single tribble can quickly increase its number exponentially through presumably asexual reproduction, bearing an average litter of ten every twelve hours. On their homeworld, tribble populations are kept in check by a large number of reptilian predators.

8" plush Tribbles are available in four colors: Light Brown, Light Grey, Dark Brown, and Ginger. Each Tribble features voice & touch-resonsive vibration & sound (batteries included). Collect them both

*NOTE: To activate your Tribble and make it come to life, you must first turn on the vibrating mechanism, located within the Tribble's velcro pouch. This is accomplished by moving the activation switch to the "on" position.
Collector of Large Cents, US Type, and modern pocket change.

Hey don't laugh but at my bank that's all they had (fur balls) when I went to get some $. I'd filled out a withdraw slip for 8K and the teller said, Oh we don't have that! I replied What? She said ya, we don't have that kinda money. I replied: Well, what kinda money do you have? She just smiled. I said Well, how bout 4K then? She said: Nope! I was thinking wtf, can I get a Grand...? She tells me to check back on Thursday. I thought well this is goofy and went down the street to another branch...They didn't have any money either...This went on for almost 10 days before I got my money...The one girl offered me a cashiers check and I said Well, what am I gonna do with that? She replied, Well, what do you need the money for? I almost passed out...

Didn't your bank manager have a lil talk with you about what you could and couldn't place in a SDB image

I was mentioned that I couldn't place and severed fingers in my SDB and I walked away from that conversation wondering...

Do I look like someone that would place severed fingers in my SDB imageimage
