Seems like I have a constant flow of new errors coming in. Post a really cool eye popping error that we haven't seen before ....

Here is a great flip over double struck, double date error for my Y2K error type set in PCGS MS64 Red ...

How about a two headed dime ....

Not new, but not posted frequently...

Although there's a few double struck Merc's most are either struck in collar with a touch or no overlap.

All other that have a second strike that is off center are mostly in XF or lower grades.

To my knowledge research wise this is the only known flip over double struck making it unique.

That's neat as I don't think I've ever seen a rolled thin planchet larger then a dime.

They're not new, but you haven't seen them before.

I haven't posted this one because it's something of a whatsit:

And for some reason I haven't posted this monster indent:

That's new to me, very sweet error. Posting oldies but goodies is just fine by me ... as it is new to those who have not seen them before.

That curved line on the "reverse" (i.e., the image on the right)--is it raised or incused or what?

My first impression was that somebody took two cent planchets (which are relatively common and cheap), overlapped the other one atop this one and then applied a lot of pressure, making it go "squish." However, that is just a hypothesis at this point. I really want to know more about that curved line.

If I recall correctly, it would be a small change in elevation between the unstruck and struck areas, but I could very well be using what I think the coin is to recall my observations. I may have the sides messed up; as the "obverse/left" image looks like a typical stretch strike, with the other side looking like...? If I remember I'll go rummaging around my safe deposit box to find it next time I'm over there.
