    At recent shows where I didn't buy any U.S. coins, I have found some very attractive demonetized foreign notes that were in good shape and cost virtually nothing. For example, I picked up an old Brasilian note with a picture of Dr. Oswaldo Cruz, who was responsible for stopping the yellow fever scourge a century ago in Sao Paulo, and is a national hero.
