Thought this thread would have been more active. I would like to see some more "luster in the raw" posted.
Maybe so many better looking coins are in slabs, or headed there, that few people get to or bother to take pics of them while out of a slab. Or the pics are out there but a pain to dig thru and post them here which is what I experienced. Though it was interesting to see things owned from the past, some I remember others are forgotten.
Here are some of the better pics taken over the years with my untrusty Sony Mavica FD-73. Bought it around 2001 and still using it. The resolution is lousy but some did capture the luster.
Here is a selection of type coin pictures that came out the best; which isn't saying much for a Mavica.
(Most were taken while selling on Ebay thru 2008 along with a few that were posted on the BST. All are now gone except for a couple of not-for-sales.)

If I wasn't so lazy about photography, I could submit pics of my 7070 album - plenty of raw lusterous coins in there. But I am appreciative of those who do take the time and share their nice coins with us!
