That's because they aren't. VCP average is around $330 on a 51 Berk Ross PSA 8. You were quoted VCP average on a 52 Berk Ross Musial PSA 8 which is a substantially more difficult card to find in high grade. Sorry to burst you're bubble!
I thought it might be the 1952 not the 1951
I thought the card was around the $375 to $450 range for the 1951

I bought this card 20+ years ago. The older lady that owned this actually used it for a book mark. The card has a bend that runs through it. It's not really a crease so maybe they think somehow it was altered. The tips of some of the corners look like they have black on them? Maybe it's that ???
I had it graded 20+ years ago from CSA.
I know terrible choice.
I liked their old blue holders and cheap price.
They graded it a 2.
I took all of my old graded CSA cards to the Baltimore National and had PSA cross them over.
The Musial was a CSA 6.
I got a bump on almost all the cards I crossed over except for the older vintage.
The Williams was a CSA 4
The Gehrig was a CSA 3.
It's the best looking low graded Ruth I've ever seen.
Just looking for info on the Ruth

1920 Headin Home and 1921 American Caramel.
Not sure why PSA graded the Caramel Ruth Altered?
