  I actually saw some of his auctions day before yesterday and thought the
  same. However, they are not uncirculated examples and are obviously
  common dates. Although I cannot condone this crap I won't argue that
  it is a fun way to collect junk. Why not colorful junk? I think I'll go buy
  some "color" and have fun too!

  I showed a toner to a non collector once, and told her they can command a premium. She said "I can do that on my stove!"

  That's the kind of artificial that doesn't even look beautiful.

  I have existed since the creation of this world and will exist until its end. Only my form will change. For these 80 human life years, I have the benefit of having a functioning body and consciousness. I will not waste this opportunity.
