"MELT?" Written on a 2x2 insert of a coin I just purchased.

I finally found another Mel Wacks counterstamp I've been looking for. When it arrived, the seller had written "MELT?" on the insert.
I paid $32.00 (way over melt) for it with the host coin being a 1971-S Ike.

I guess my interst isn't worth much to others.

    Don't feel bad. My specialty niche is so un-sought-after that a lot my collection was donated to me for free, by people who just wanted to be rid of the "junk". image
