Does it bother you when your new coin arrives in the mail and the holder is trashed? Note the haze on the reverse and the long white line above the chicken... Probably been a topic before, so don't flame and just enjoy the image....

    Thanks for the tips, but I'll probably have to send it on a bi-coastal trip to get new plastic and a bean. The coin in hand has the appearance of a proof - anyone care to guess the grade?

    why waste all that money? it would take 5 minutes of wetsanding followed by just throwing a little rubbing compound and it'll look good as new.
