Is there a special band you listen to when going over your coins?
I find if I have a lot to do, Rush keeps me going.
If I want to look at a few toned gems Pink Floyd does the trick.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
But Tears For Fears, Heart, Firefall, Santana . . . or if you really want to pull out the best stuff . . . pour a shot of 12-15 year Islay Scotch, and pore over your best rarities . . .
The best coin tunage . .
Rick Wakeman . . . either "King Arthur" (and the Knights of the Round Table), or "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" (spelled correctly mind you!)
Unbeatable. Simply without par on this earth. I nearly mist up just thinking about it.

RYK's favorite artist, which he forgot to mention, is actually Mary Chapin Carpenter
I like Jackson Browne, myself.

I saw JB this summer, for the second time (last time was about 15 years ago). It was a great show.

FYI- I recently flew with the lead singer for Naked Eyes for was seated next to me. I intiated the convo because he was the last one on the plane and made a big deal about storing his axe and looked like he literally just escaped from rehab. He was probably 55 but looked 115 and still dressed rocker. The Naked Eyes had two mega hits in the eighties. I learned from him that the two headliners from Tears for Fears and the two leads from Naked Eyes were in the same band (Neon) prior. I never knew that. My son picked me up from the airport and we went to a hipster bar with lot's of twenty something musicans hanging out. I told my story.....They all had two questions. Who is Naked Eyes? What is Tears for Fears? I did see them Googling immediately. I sheepishly never mention I collect coins.....That what I have all of you for

<< <i>AC/DC Highway to Hell.
Last year I won tickets to see ACDC - FRONT ROW seats and 5 seats in from the center catwalk! My hubby is not that big of a fan, so I took my son Troy (who had a great time!). Now I absolutely love ACDC, but that's not quite the concert I'd want front row seats at. We were right in front of those huge giant speakers, and even with earplugs, our ears were ringing for hours after the concert. Also, Brian Johnson and Angus Young were so close that we could easily see they have done a lot of living and seriously aren't very easy on the eyes!

<< <i>I would have to say U2 which is my favorite band of all time. But I thoroughly enjoy all classic rock, especially ACDC, Tom Petty, Rod Stewart, CCR, Bob Seger, etc. My iPod has almost all types of music (no rap, and very little country), but there are some 50's and 60's songs (Presley, Sinatra, Nat) that are some of my favorites. >>
Charmy, did you go to the Tom Petty concert in your neck of the woods last night? There were at least two coin dealers there. Petty was great.

Well, I was there (that was one), and another from Spectrum Group.
I was really impressed with ZZ Top (I missed the first half of their set). They sounded so good live.
Petty was great. I've been a fan since Full Moon Fever/Wilburys (so quite late compared to many in the audience). Great that he still tours regularly and it's such a perfect venue at night.
