Van Nuys Coin Show, Sunday October 17th

Van Nuys, Ca.
There is usually a pretty good turnout at this location. 28 tables, so I would guess 20-25 Dealers.

I usually go to the Van Nuys shows since I'm pretty close by, but it's usually a last minute decision depending on which football games are on

This is definitely the earliest a Van Nuys thread has been started before a show though, that's for sure!!! Us SoCal folks just got done with the Long Beach show, still have Buena Park on Oct 2-3 and Anaheim on Oct 10... I guess it's nice to have a few shows a month

I attended. I donated some red books to the sponsoring organization. I bought one coin, an Oregon commem, no pictures. Show was not too thrilling.

Usually the Van Nuys shows are not very thrilling. Of the many shows held at that venue throughout the year, this one by the Glendale Coin Club is usually much better than the other commercial shows. I planned on going, but staying home and watching football seemed more fun than going out in the rain to this show. Oh well. There will be another show in Van Nuys next month...
