I Received a Swiss Franc in Change Today
No, I am not skiiing in Gstaad. That would be Longacre's excuse
The automatic change dispenser at the Chicagoland Dominick's (Coinosaurus would not be caught dead at the Jewel) issued one US cent and one Swiss Franc when I paid $6.00 currency for a $5.74 bill.
I informed that cashier that it was a franc, and she asked did I want a "real" quarter. I said no, I will keep this one because it is more valuable
And she did not seem to have a problem with that.

Edited to add, mintmark is "B." Is that for Basel? or Bern?

<< <i>a Swiss Franc is not a U.S coin , oh how I would hate to see your thread locked because of that fact
Ummm, it was supposed to be a quarter, does that help
