  IF it were a clash it would be a partial E from LIBERTY. VAM-1B Hot 50. But that shadow does not look like it should for the partial E.

  I've seen that before. Small die gouge/scratch. Can't remember the VAM off the top of my head, but I think this scratch is secondary to something else. How's the obverse look?
