    AT = Artfully Toned image

    If mapped properly I think it's 0ABCDE0RSTV00DEF pattern toning.

    And from a "Top-Rated Seller" none-the-less. image

    What method might have been used to tone that coin? Liver of Sulfur? Frying pan?

    And I find it interesting that the seller never mentions "toned", "rainbow", etc. in the title or description.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    MS70 or liver of sulfer would be my guess.

    That clown has been selling these by the bucket full for years. Been discussed here repeatedly too.

    In my experience, MS70 does not do this to silver.

    How does he continue to sell the AT carp he does, and still only have 2 negs in one year??????????? He has had coins in the VG-F range with those crazy colors...and people are still happy with them??? Wait till they try to resell......

    here's one I dug up...... I just had to copy it, it's so outrageously AT'ed....I think it's about a year old....still has his 'watermark' on it.......

    Purchased, no doubt, by neophytes who have been convinced that color is the prime objective. Too bad. Cheers, RickO

    I'm guessing some people actually like those colors and don't know that much about how they are made or resale value.
