When my government says the recession is over, it's time to celebrate with lots of coin purchases.

I think there is some pretty good value in the stock market right now. Went long with XRX on Friday.

I think gold and platinum is getting a little pricey.

I may be buying a little silver when the Parks hockey pucks are available.

Recession is over in the US when things you buy are made in America and not in China!

I've got 15 months of built up credit card buying to do now that I find out the recession ended in June 2009. Let the good time roll!

I have been barely keeping up with a few purchases of 2010 mint items. Saving and hoping for the AGE, ASE and hockey pucks. I have also lost my mind (and possibly money to follow) and been buying some GLD 2012 puts in the 70 to 85 dolllar ranges.

If the recession hit me and I was unemployed I would not be posting on this board. I would spend all of my time finding another job rather than "boo hoo." image I also find it funny that the ones that complain the most about the recession have the most money. Ain't that America.

Considering my daughter's first semester of college fees just came due, I doubt I will be buying a whole lot for a couple of months, in fact I have been liquidating some duplicates and other items that don't really fit in my collection.

There are a lot of people like me out there(couple of trillion on the sidelines). I been out of the stock market for over a year. Perhaps in 2014, I may get back in but not now. I am sure there are some bargains out there, so go for them.

I like XRX purchase of ACS. I think ACS is going to add a lot more value (in the future) to XRX than what is showing right now. A recent article in Barron's or the WSJ suggested it may double. I think XRX has limited downside risk and quite a bit upside potential. Just my opinion.

    Good Luck!

    Recession...
    don't forget about the rules......
A recession has many attributes that can occur simultaneously and includes declines in component measures of economic activity (GDP) such as consumption, investment, government spending, and net export activity. These summary measures reflect underlying drivers such as employment levels and skills, household savings rates, corporate investment decisions, interest rates, demographics, and government policies.
    ......................Therefore I have no comment............
