I've always been more of lurker than a poster, so my ID won't be familiar to 99.9% of you, but like ROBBItheOKIE, I'm just coming back to collecting. It is good to see some of the old names on the board, although I still haven't seen a recent post (last 2 weeks) from Russ or Mad Marty or dorkkarl - some of my old favorites. I stopped collecting for awhile a couple of years ago due to time and $$$ constraints, but I recently received a '39 Jeff in change that looks like it was minted yesterday (almost) and my interests have been rekindled. The 2 year gap is the 2nd longest in my collecting "career". The longest was the approximately 20 year gap between discovering girls as a teenager and having my parents ship me a box of my old collection in my 30's. Although I've always been pretty eclectic, I'm going to try and finish the Mercury and silver Roosies sets once and for all.
