gone camping

in U.S. Coin Forum
well in a cabin on a camping site brought along 50.00 in cents to sort , so far a few wheats from the 50s and 40s 1 1934 and a 1917. so far so well in box1 . no AM variations 1/4 roll of canada 1/2 roll of wheats. tomm i do the other box.
cute girl and friend are out campfiring. im not good with nature so im here doing cents and chatting with you all

    Well, FAKE the nature thing! If you are inside with coins, and a cute girl and her girlfriend are campfiring, and you are in the cabin due to 'not being good with nature', then why go to begin with??? image

    personally, i would be out by the campfire. i just got back from my annual trek to see my bro and my dad. 2 and a half weeks and 4,000 miles later, without seeing a TV or PC(dad and bro both have internet) and i have no regrets. i find it a nice break from work/coins/TV and computers. JMO

    I spent the afternoon hiking around a small lake out here and did not even think about coins for at least a few hours.
    Only thing that even came close to looking like copper.

    girl isnt interested, the friend is my best friend (guy) i tried nature and got flys and stuff around me by the farm animals. we had a campfire with smores , not bad. i finished the cents. I dont mind being in the cabin i kinda prefer that since its less buggy. I think the girl is a coin girl , she does coins currency and stamps. kinda cool. i have 25.00 in cents tomm to do and saturday is a flea market with alot of currency so should be a fun day. EVEN if get nothing i have 2000 in halves 75 in cents and 1500 in singles waiting for me.

    i need a metal detector, maybe ill ask for one for christmas. i went out for the camp fire. but while everyone was watching tv i was on cent patrol . Im dedicated for the cause , and the girl isnt interestedin me that way. believe me if there was a good chance withher id wait on my pennies. so far i have a picture of a turkey so far. but ill see what other pictures there are. Saturday i have a coin/currency show so hopefully it will yield good stuff

    I have a friend who lives in an RV at a large campground....after 'the season' is over..a few of the guys there hit the area with their detectors and some of the finds are pretty amazing. Lots of coins are found (usually from people sitting around campfires).
