    Nice coin. A real beauty.

I settled for mine a couple of years ago. Not the condition I wanted but my ship came in -- it has now sailed so I happy that I took the one available at the time.

Please allow me to add my congratulations along with everyone elses. No small accomplishment there. It always does my heart good to see someone finish something that has been a work of love for a long time.

    << <i>Congratulations! What a great accomplishment. Now... what's next? >>

    What's next?

I want to finish the gold type set. I'm lacking three coins. Beyond that I've always got irons in the fire given my interests in history and the like. Volume-wise, but not cost-wise I have more tokens and medals than coins. Most of the tokens and medals are from the 19th century.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

<< <i>Completing a major collection is always a thrill, and I’ve been at this at one level or another for over 40 years. Years ago I never would have dreamed that I would complete it, but when you work on something one coin at time, and hold on to what you are purchasing, sometimes persistence pays off. >>

    That is excellent! Congrats! image
