A Nice Matched Set

Ran across these while looking at my stuff. I always liked this set.

Why do they all have the black smudge on the reverse in the same area???? Cheers, RickO

Very pretty white with original skin, so much nicer than dipped coins. You have to love matched PDS sets, its fun to imagine who kept those coins together for 40 years before they were slabbed

Looks like you purchased them from RCNH.

Yes the coins did come from RCNH. Paul called one day and said he had a nice set and wanted them to go to someone that would love them. Of course I bought them. The black smudge is, I think just shadow. I am hand holding the camera under fluorescent lighting at work on my desk. Not the best of pictures but better than I have been able to do before.

Edited to add: I haven't really figured out the settings on the camera yet and deleting more pictures than I am keeping. The camera is a Canon SD1400IS. An inexpensive camera.
