Hahaha that's what Laura is trying to convince us of as well, Simpson's coin is 'only' an MS65 lol If we consider selling it you will be on the list of people i tell
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!
Sort of new to these coins. I only have one from a bulk purchase a bit ago ( a 1851, wellllll worn). But would this be considered a late die state coin, due to the rippled surfaces (much like some IHC's I've seen)? Also, do these coins typically leave the phantom images of the other side on the coins?

(eta) LordM, it is one you would like. Nice little holed one.
