Ah...now that there is a picture image
    ....

Looks like a scan. Is there luster? If luster, and no marks hiding, it could go MS66 (but, grading from a picture is no science, as we all know).
Also depends if there are marks hidden by the shot or not. If it really is that clean, and is full of luster, it should be good to go.

The coin looks to have a satin finish. No marks to speak of.

If that is how the coin really looks, flat with no real luster, I vote no. If that is a scan, and the live coin has superb cartwheel luster then maybe. I suggest you have someone with experience submitting Morgans such as a dealer or another collector look at it in hand and get a grade opinion that way. At MS65 and above it would be worth it. Below that no.

Satin finish? Morgans don't generally come with satin white finish, so that is puzzling to me.

Nice lustre and cartwheel -- YES.
    Subdued lustre -- NO.
    When in doubt, don't.

Nice coin, at least from the scan.
Only you know how clean the cheek is, appears to be nearly mark free.
Make sure it's not the 1887/6, whole different coin if it is.
I'll say 65 based on the scan, who knows perhaps a 6 on a good day.
Or just keep it raw it's a Gem, slab or no slabimage

The scan look pretty much mark free in all the right areas, how does it look in hand?

When I first saw it I instantly thought counterfiet. Then my second thought was scan not photo.

    Does the coin cartwheel?

Based on the images provided, the coin is either a lackluster, fairly low grade unc. or AU. Either way, it would not be worth submitting.

Can't judge based on picture from a flatbed scanner, since scanners don't show luster at all.
  • Going off the scans, I'll agree, it's at least a 65. If you do send it in, I'll say, 50% chance it's a 65, 25% chance, each, it's either better or worse.

So, thus far, we have established that the coin probably grades between Au and MS66. In other words, the images are essentially worthless - sorry.

What I see on the reverse rim at K3 bothers me. I think this one sat for a long time in the dipping bottle.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

They're not totally worthless, I'll say AU+ with CAC bean.image

Thank's for the replies .Yes I know it's hard to go by a flatbed scanner. And me not knowing much about MD.
I have four free submissions and will add this to the package.
