No, but I must admit I am a little more excited to check my mail when I get home. Is that sad?

....now all they need to do is start mailing the mag in a plain 'non coin ad type envelope' image

Very true, my mail man, excuse me, postal carrier, always asks me about my coin collection. Nicest person and great delivering my mail, but having it a black wrapper to look like a Playboy is definately a good thing image

I thought NN was already 'downsized'---it's not worth the paper it's printed on.

Oh NN ain't sooo bad. I have had a subscription for 10-15 years now and although it could indeed be beefed up with more articles & news I enjoy it. It had a great thing going on with the free ads, but they changed that and the ads no longer appeal to me. The Mint Statistics section is a good one. Maybe with the new size, more color photos, and the new look they can work their way into better content.

The free classifieds were a great feature.

Just got mine and hey, there's a really interesting story on page 47 image
  • HATE IT!!! Will not continue to subscribe. On allot of the ads you need a magnifying glass. So SAD!! Smaller paper now= Lower Subscription price?? NO!! Sorry can you tell Im MAD?

It's the same size as Coin World, just 1" less width.

This will suit Longacre because he has been stuffing his mahogany bookcase with the old oversize issues.

I see that ol' Paul Green is still writing from the grave.

I like David Harper's column, and anything R.W. Julian writes about.

received it yesterday. more pages to flip and some of the text is really tiny. They should rethink some of the formatting, because using the older format on a smaller page doesn't really work.

Man, I better have it in today's mail! I am curious to check out the new look. Their Bank Note Reporter will be revamped as well.

That was one of my initial thoughts, too. There will probably be a transition of an issue or two where ads are reformatted for the new aspect ratio.

Something I noticed was the paper quality seemed low.... lots of bleed-through. Did anyone else notice that?

I do like the new size, though, and I'm confident it will find its legs.

Ok so I received my copy in the mail today and overall I like it. I do not think the color photos on the paper stock print too clearly though. I am sure there will be tweaks down the road and I think it was a good move. Considering I get one every week the smaller size makes it easier to store and recycle too.

I just got it yesterday. I need to flip through it. All I know is that the CRO ads don't look as good in black and white. NN needs to get ito the 21st century. image
