....i like the new size. easier to hold when reading. never liked the old size.

Very true, my mail man, excuse me, postal carrier, always asks me about my coin collection. Nicest person and great delivering my mail, but having it a black wrapper to look like a Playboy is definately a good thing

<< <i>I thought NN was already 'downsized'---it's not worth the paper it's printed on. >>
...don't like it, eh?
<< <i>Oh NN ain't sooo bad. I have had a subscription for 10-15 years now and although it could indeed be beefed up with more articles & news I enjoy it. It had a great thing going on with the free ads, but they changed that and the ads no longer appeal to me. The Mint Statistics section is a good one. Maybe with the new size, more color photos, and the new look they can work their way into better content. >>
The free classifieds were a great feature.
Just got mine and hey, there's a really interesting story on page 47

This will suit Longacre because he has been stuffing his mahogany bookcase with the old oversize issues.
I see that ol' Paul Green is still writing from the grave.
I like David Harper's column, and anything R.W. Julian writes about.
...now it's real close to the same size as the numismatist.
<< <i>received it yesterday. more pages to flip and some of the text is really tiny. They should rethink some of the formatting, because using the older format on a smaller page doesn't really work. >>
That was one of my initial thoughts, too. There will probably be a transition of an issue or two where ads are reformatted for the new aspect ratio.
Something I noticed was the paper quality seemed low.... lots of bleed-through. Did anyone else notice that?
I do like the new size, though, and I'm confident it will find its legs.
I got mine and do not plan to renew as I don't like it.
