From your pics, I would say PR66BN. Regardless, beautiful coin.

Not sure how they grade proofs but here's my guess,

    PR 66RB.

    PR67RD

Edited to add: Did this per chance come from ThePennyLady? Great coin! I'd sure love to own one that nice.

PR64RB just because no one else has guessed it.

edited to state my reason for the low guess. It looks much, much nicer. If it were a 64, it would be worthy of a couple of gold beans.

i had thought "Proof" when i first opened the thread mainly because of the sharpness of the denticles, but i figured the little roughness of the cheek and some contacts meant MS. either way it's a nice coin. in-hand the mirrors would end any indecision.

since the photo added later seems to show mirrors, I'm going to say it's a proof, maybe a 66?

Chris, That is a very attractive example IMO. I really love the colors on the reverse ... actually, both sides. image

As for the grade I would suspect she's a PR66RB, and based on the picture, she's a top level one at that.

Wow, MS68 is my first impression. Is it a proof? Most think so and it's nice but a proof?

No hints but it is currently at pcgs to get trueviewed. If 3 people answer correctly before I get the trueview image then I will disclose of the grade, if not... just going to have to wait for the trueview to be posted image

I can buy that for a market grade. Take away the strike and toning, though, I don't know that that's every bit a technical 67.

None of us do, based on images of a proof coin. And the same would apply if the coin graded 66 or 65 or 64, etc.

I thought a "PR" before my "67" was redundant, given the reply I was quoting. I hope that wasn't too subtle for you.

Accurately graded, IMO...of course, that was my opinion before I knew the grade, also, LOL...
