New here, but not to coins. Ive collected for several years now, and love every aspect of it.

Like it all, but really dig Large Cents. The older, the better.

No grades specifically get me going. I like problem free nice looking pieces all the way down the scale.

Other than that, just wanted to say hi officially.

    Greetings, enjoy the group. My first love was large cents, the local grocer kept two in his cash register...and I just HAD to see them whenever mom took me shopping. I guess I was all of like five!

    just something about that big chunk of copper. I like the later ones, in the 50's in like XF. nice thing is, you dont usually feel the need to slab them!

    I also love Large Cents. Neat Coin in that it is affordable to a budget collector. Pull one out of your pocket and it is an instant conversation piece. Way under priced IMHO. One day they will take off and the collector of this coin will be smiling. Hope you don't have thin skin, these folks can be A.H's. at times, but for the most part a proverbial wealth of information.
