Yep, pretty much just as I said. Now next time you ever Post/Print a PM of mine......................................
Neil >>
lmao, it's exactly NOTHING like what you said. I politely declined your offer, nothing more/nothing less. I never said one word about you lowballing me or had any attitude toward it. You lied and you forgot the pm's were saved. Simple as that.
Ah..................Wrong Keemosabe, Actually read the PM's before I posted, I stand by what I said...So Whatever Dude!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess part of my distaste must be just from reading your postings!!!!!!!!!

so you still insist that I copped an attitude with you even though the pm's confirm otherwise? lmao. What color is the sky in your world?
<< <i>So the PM sent regarding the final purchase price wasn't a jab at Neil for his offer? I guess I'd be curious as to why you sent it to him then? >>
I actually sent it to him to give him an idea as to what those particular boxes were bringing, but I wouldn't expect anyone that is just piling on to understand that. I trade pm's with several people on here giving advice, taking advice, going over values, etc...on a regular basis. I'm sorry that he took it as a jab, but the fact remains that I never said ANYTHING to dutymon even approaching an attitude.
I politely declined his offer and told him thanks, lol.
Corvette1340 : "thanks for the offer but I'll pass."
If that is attitude then I get attitude from every poster on here that has ever turned down an offer from me.
<< <i>I remember a time I was trying to give advice regarding centering and
was accused of having attitude too.
I think (and this is just my opinion) that people read and comprehend what they want to.
Often times it is comprehended wrongly because we can't see the persons expressions.

I agree with you Steve and you and I have had our run ins to which I've appologized for my part in. However, there is no way that my saying "thanks for the offer but I'll pass" can be construed as anything but politely declining his offer.
<< <i>lol, just ignore the entire conversation and pile on. >>
No need to pile on. This entire thread is ridiculous. Only thing I said in here was that I thought it would come back from PSA as an EOT. If I'm wrong, I'm happy for you. If not, you get your money back.
We are not exactly rescueing abandoned children in Haiti with this thread.
Is the correct term a "boldfaced" lie or a "baldfaced" lie?? I have heard both versions stated. Thanks in advance!
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Since PSA seems to be tough on star cards I'll go with 5 on a regular day 5.5 on a good day.
The trimming doctors have came a long way since the early 80's and has made it more difficult to determine trimmed cards.
We all know that some even get pass the TPG companies, so the TPG's sometimes will give a card the EOT or min size tag, basically saying we are not sure, err on the side of caution. Remember the 86 M. Jordan pulled from a pack that got the dreaded EOT, later to be reviewed and pull a PSA 9. mistakes are made. I have one card that came back EOT twice and I looked and looked at it even with a 10X loupe, but finally I saw the EOT, a very good trimming and I am glad that PSA caught it, I think I had a whole 1.00 into the card well now I have like 13.00 into the card counting the grade fees.
I think that I am pretty good at catching trimmed and recolored cards, but I also remember a friend who took a $ 200.00 class on fake Gold coins and he was really sharp on coins , 2 weeks after the class, i saw him and he threw a 20 dollar gold piece (450.00 at the time) at me and laughed and said well paid 200 for the class and 450 dollars for the next lesson/class. No matter how good you are someone out there is better. just my 2 cents
<< <i>Nice grade good luck if you try to flip it. >>
I may just keep it for my set I'm building although it will be the only card below a 7 out of the 100+ cards I've got graded so far. Maybe I can sell it and upgrade to a 7.
Congrats on the grade! Good luck and enjoy the card if you keep it for your set.
STAY HEALTHY!

around $350 so I won't make that much either way after grading fee, but I thought it was a good gamble based on the refund he promised if it didn't grade. I could probably get around $370 or so with the nicer centering if I sell.
At $310/dlvd, plus $35.95 in overall slab fees, you've got $345.95 in it. If you're going to try to sell it, you should break even.. if you sell it directly and bypass ebay's fee system.
If it's for the PC, then awesome. I always like the cards I submit myself a little better than the ones I buy already graded.

grading fee was only $30.95 because I sent it on the special along with another sub in the same box.

lol, now that you mention it, I think I've heard it both ways. I think it may be a regional think. Both carry the same emphasis I'm sure though.
All are used, with bold face dating back 400+ years.
Bald face and bare face started around 1945 or so, perhaps earlier.
