eBay Bucks Today - What did you get?

I get slightly over $40 in eBay bucks! Yeah, it's almost like free money...or at least I will blow it like it is.

Good time to list $50-$76 items I imagine.

Clear Skies,
Mark

Using a "new" buying account because eBay won't offer me eBay Bucks on my main account. Anyway, I've been on a the past two months or so. Just looked and I've got just over $200 about to be released after getting a nice little Big Crumbs release the other day. It's not too much effort, but it certainly is nice to save a couple hundred every quarter or so. Even better when I knock off the Bing Cashback on a significant BIN purchase.

I have like $45 coming and I also listed a bunch of stuff in the $100 and less range with BIN/BO.

I "spent" mine before I even had them.

Whatever I accumulated this quarter will be deducted from my purchase price of a larger item I picked up earlier.

Of course, I used that to trick myself into spending far too liberally this month, especially when they did the double eBay Bucks promotion.

Darn eBay marketing sucks me in every time.

Meh. I've had my only account since 1997. Ticks me off that I gotta get a new account to have a chance for eBay bucks. Do all new accounts get them, or is it random?

Spent it 1st thing this morning, picked up multiple Smoltz cards for the registry, I'm happy.

On a side note, I think it is random how they offer the program to people. I have had an account since 2004 and got in several months ago. I know people who have opened in the last year or less and have not been invited.

I've had my one and only account since the same time as you and I've been participating in Ebay bucks for quite a while now. I have no idea how it's administered or participants chosen.

I used mine to pick up a PSA 10 for my 78 Topps set that I'm working on.

no, it's a 2% base cashback and from time to time they have double bucks or more in 1-2 day increments/specials.

A card I believe poised for a comeback. 1984 Topps Mattingly RC's. With my $16 in ebay bucks, a lot of 4 PSA 9's delivered was $33.50, or about $8.40 each. Now, I might just pick the nicest one and try for a 10. image

When I was first collecting, and until the early 90's, I can remember this being THE card, with EX raw copies going for $30 easy.

My eBay Bucks totaled $76.26. Just now won a 1961 Topps #75 "Lindy Shows Larry" PSA 9 MINT for $72.00. With S/H of $5, I got it essentially for free.

I got around 11 Ebay bucks. I needed a Brad Lidge RC for my Relief Pitcher of the Year set (even though the guy has a bad case of the yips, he used to be good), so I got his 1999 Bowman's Best Atomic Refractor version...
