I know where there is investment growth potential in 70s BB...

Anyone care to speculate what I know?

Well, I'm going to take a stab and say unopened material. But if that's the case, then there is investment growth potential in 80's unopened stuff too.

Yeah, because it's been over NINE hours since the OP and you still have not said anything!

Heck, let's just end the suspense. My vote: 1970 thru 1973 Topps PSA slabbed packs!--they'll only get scarcer with time....

But to address the OP's specific question I would have to say (unfortunately) that the area for greatest price appreciation from '70's bb exists with raw wrappers. Due to the epidemic in pack counterfeiting the demand for such wrappers has dramatically increased over the past year.

I'll give you a hint, it's not a standard topp issue. After that I'm not sure I want to give more info. It may cause bidding wars on these cards which could hurt my ability to buy "low" (or at least lower)

Hey that picture of the troll kinda looks like Yoda-go figure. To be 100% honest, I was curious to what 70s BB responses I would get and see if anyone came up with my secret

1970's factory sealed material: wax boxes and sets

However, I don't know how people will believe they are real or unsearched? There have been so many pack resealers, that I stay away from unopened material of the vintage persuasion.

I think I have the answer: He just wants people's opinions on what to buy and invest in. He really doesn't seem to have any clue at all.

A small hint: Usually HOF cards are better to buy than commons. HOF Rookie cards are usually the best.

Rare obscure issues don't always have the best resale value, not many people are interested.

    potential.

perhaps the worst conceived word ever to cross the lips of English speaking dolts throughout history and beyond......potential means about as much to me as the time my Dad told me one day we might go skydiving together while wearing only our boxer shorts.......

"Yes, you have potential. And we really like you a lot. Now, go stand in the corner and hold this bucket."

    << <i>potential. >>

Potential (early in the season): "You suck, but I see some flashes of something that might be considered talent. I may keep you around to see if any of that ever surfaces."
Potential (late in the season): "You suck."

Had a coach once who explained what potential meant based on where you were in the season.
