I don't know quite how to say this, but you are perhaps the worst poster in the history of these boards.
They say timing is everything in comedy and you have excellent timing. Whenever I think CD is gone he comes in with a well thought out and well placed comment. By the way, I totally agree with your thought here. Really a bad post by the OP.

My prediction is high-grade 71 Topps Greatest Moments $'s will go up due to scarcity, eye appeal, and increasing popularity. BTW-the AMA (largest group of doctors, etc.) supported this insurance reform bill... While I understand there are some legitimate arguments against this bill, at least stick to the facts..Thank you to everyone else who participated in my 70s BB rhetorical exercise

You mean the AMA that less than 20% of physicians belong to? The one that counts mostly interns, residents, hospital staff and faculty among its membership? That's like saying the ACM represents programmers.

You may like Dr Lou, and you may not....... but you can't deny that the man puts asses in the seats. 61 posts and counting, and I don't know if we're even approaching the average for a DrLou- initiated thread.

You know I was gonna say the 1971 Greatest Moments when this thread was on page one as a stab in the dark as that might of been what you were thinking. I will say from a long term investment potential that might prove dicey. I'd go with unopened packs. I got a bias for 1975 mini stuff if you use today as a starting point!

Unless I get a chance to see his license plate, there's no way I can answer that question.

Don't think so on 1971 T Greatest Moments. Larry Fritsch's heirs are sitting on a boat load of them, albeit some with water damage. They will be released slowly buy surely, so your "long term" strategy goes out the window.
The market has already recognized their scarcity and condition issues with the insane prices high example PSA's are getting.
Kiss me once, shame on you. Kiss me twice.....let's party.

Is the water damage due to the fact that the cards were part of a "boat load"?

Amazing and insightful. Who would've thought that your prediction for a future scarce and popular set would be one that's already scarce and popular.
Thanks for the heads up - I'll be on the lookout for bargains.
