It also wouldn't work. This is an auction to raise money. If an items gets bids at the last second, I'm happy to give the underbidder an opportunity to raise their bid post-closing.

It was a joke instead of a plain "TTT" post.... (traditional sniping software likely is not compatible with your auction site.)
However, as a newbie, I did start to wonder if people place last minute bids as many say they do on eBay...
I'm glad you answered the protocol question for me.
(PS: TTT.... in another form... I waited until it hit pg 2 to reply. I operate in my own space sometimes.)

well you could solve that real quick by making a bid on all of the remaining blanks
in reviewing the lots and deciding on what to bid on myself, I was actually thinking that compared to the last two charity auctions (the only two I've been around for) it seems like the quality and quantity of donations from the members here have dropped significantly. not trying to be a downer about it, but it's a little disappointing given the number and scale of collectors we have here on this forum. hopefully some of the big hitters around here are able and willing to come through and make some generous bids before the end.
