Lot 95 is a Fine-15 S-1 Ameri. in a PCGS holder.
In part, it is described as:

Yet the photo looks more than a little porous. I wonder if the coin in hand looks better, as is sometimes the case

I guess that means I don't.
Then again, Heritage images are not to be trusted. I wonder what the coin looks like in hand.
I think not. It is plainly visible without a glass.
However, quality early copper is hard to come by, and if I had the money to be the type
of person that buys a coin of that nature, I would be taking a look at it.
If that was an AU common date large cent with the same microporosity, it would be in a genuine holder.
assume that they were taking the porosity into account. It is an overall pleasing example that would
never deserve to be Genuine graded or body bagged, so I have to agree with the grade.
It would look great in my set, much better than the empty hole there now.
