Has anyone seen these? I saw one at a show recently and they are HUGE. About 10x the size of a regular slab. These look much nicer than the rectangular slabs they had for medals.
I think for medals, I am going to also join NGC. Already have a PCGS membership.

The one large holder that I do have is only kept that way because I will be selling that one off soon. Otherwise, I would crack it and put it into one of our holders.
Edited to add: I like them and I especially like the multi-coin holders

<< <i>Yes, I've seen them. They're hard to fathom, what with being the size of a small serving tray. >>
I have one, they are too big.
I think that making holders like this for these large medals is a good idea. One of the problems with these pieces are they are big, heavy and soft. If you drop one there is a high probability that you will end up with an edge bump. These holders reduce the chances of that considerably.
please see tmot99's bi-line, it is far better and far more attractive option although the medal isn't "graded" and the holder costs more.
I have a bunch of medals I would like to get slabbed including 2 libertas medals and all of these:
So Ryk, that box of 20 might be a reality for me soon!
A Washington Manly Medal, will probably slab with details.
This amazing piece from the Pan American expo:
A GIANT Columbus Expo Medal.
Saint Louis Expo Gold Medal.
Saint Louis Silver Medal award medal!
Franklin Pierce original Indian Peace Medal.
An amazing Washington Inauguration Centennial medal. The relief on the obverse is unbelievable! Tough to capture in an image though.

I'd love to see an 1876 Bicentennial medal. BTW, what nation did that medal originate from?
Please do post it in the BST though if you're offering it for sale.
