Some Sonnier Collection coins from Legend.....
I was fortunate enough to play with some of the Sonnier collection coins at Baltimore. The coins are simply amazing! Enjoy....

Mind you I have no dilusions that this will in anyway quiet the numerous naysayers on these forums who prefer white coins or prefer to not pay premiums for premium toned coins....but the coins are exceptional to the trained eye

But will they sticker?
Agreed though, these coins are amazing.

Yes, stickers for them all.
And thanks for the ride to the airport in Baltimore (and the lesson on buying a car that I can pass on to my staff).

Did you buy one of the groups of 5? If so, which one? I know Laura was partial to the set that displayed 2 obverses and 3 reverses. The 5 set obverse with the Christmas colors (reds and greens) contained several monsters. Amazing colors sitting on amazing luster and clean surfaces.
I liked these better than the other group of 5 that I saw that were 100% green toned on the obverses.

<< <i>As nice as the coins imaged in this thread appear, they are not even remotely close to the best Morgan toners in the Sonnier Collection. >>
I agree with that. In my head I wanted to go get more but got to busy to ask. I think more images will be loaded Sunday night by Legend for all to see.
<< <i>That '78 CC obverse is amazing! >>
It's a cute coin indeed, but the set labeled "batteries not needed" is really cute. And they were all ebay purchases.

That in itself is incredible...
Were your coins at the TCCC table a few years back at FUN? I'm not a big Morgan fanatic, but the ones there were very memorable.

No, mine weren't there. But those fellows have some cute coins as well.

Probably Ron Sirnas coins...though I have had some in the TCCS cases years back as well so it could have been any of the members with Rons coins taking up probably 80% of the case
If the untoned area had been further forward Liberty could have been "crying" as well.

I do apologize that the Rolls was in the shop, but it must be noted that Mr Longacre blessed said vehicle with a sticker. In fact, while it was a proletariat chariot supplied by the Man that I am employed for the mere fact that it was stickered by Longacre himself caused it to find a retail buyer off of our humble lot the very next day.
