Calling Mr. Saint Guru and anyone who cares to opine - would this have a shot at an upgrade?

I still have my CC special to use for the gold coin - any shot here at an upgrade?

For whatever its worth, I bought this one back in the 70's and had to pay $20 over the going rate for "BU" Saints. My Dad thought I lost my mind, but I liked the "bloom" on the coin.

    Not really any big hits but lots of small ones. I would say it looks good as a 64.

    I like it as a 64. There are a lot of hits for a 65 IMHO.

    I like it where it is, regardless of grade. So often these coins come lifeless and with little to no eye appeal, save for the gold. While I normally dont swing to toned gold, this is subtle enough to be extremely eye appealing to me for some reason.

    It looks properly graded at 64. I'd like a touch fewer marks on a 65, especially on the reverse.

    A solid 64. The reverse has a lot of mini-dings... I believe the magnification is likely hurting in this case. In hand, the coin may look more attractive. Cheers, RickO

    I just read the sainty clause and it stated he might be in Baltimore.

    Nope. Way too many hits. Nice luster though!
    There is no "AT" or "NT". We only have "market acceptable" or "not market acceptable.
