Auction completed on February 19 with 18 bidders.
I haven't been following Buff prices that closely, but this seemed like a sudden significant increase...am I correct?

Since there was only one year of issue, gold buffalo fractionals are a gold mine. A full set is the grandaddy of them. Consecutive serial numbers would be a plus.
I see them only going up for quite a while.

The neat part is they look good also. I got the Unc's. Seemed like a winner at the time too.

Fortunately, I hedged and got two proof and two Unc sets...but I do remember that writing that $10,000 check to the Mint caused a lot of consternation!
But knowing what I do know...I would have doubled down...AT LEAST!!!
PS...I think the Uncs are doing pretty well too!

Ditto...I mysteriously didn't notice this completed auction come up in any searches until last night. Maybe I just assumed it wasn't a raw set at that price...or maybe I'm just getting old!

But I question why you would want a sale for a set like this to end late on a Tuesday afternoon...and not on Sunday night in "prime time"?
