....this reverse instead? it was one of the finalists offered up in the year 2000 for the sac reverse that didn't make it.

    Derivative of the Peace design.

I loved the original reverse we received and am sad to see it go.

Now its just another rotating coin design I have no use for...

I really liked the Sacagawea coin, particularly the reverse. It was actually the only (circulating) coin with some degree of art to be issued since Walkers, Mercs and Buffs were minted. Cheers, RickO

I would have liked the design in the original post better.

Yes indeed...also with the new A & B on the edge lettering it has turned me off on the whole concept.I really don't need to collect all of them along with the mint set issues.Bring back the original Sac....!!!...then I'll be happy again..without the A & B edges....!!!

I know what ya mean. I just got my order of $500 2010 sacs and $250 2001 sacs from the mint.
The quality of the 2001 look better, I can tell the date and mintmark from looking at the roll, and the reverse is more pleasing.
(yeah, I know I can tell the year from the reverse, but that doesn't help with H-H rolls and it just isn't the same anyway)

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

This would be a great obverse for the national parks quarters image

Was it really necessary to put the date on the edge? There is plenty of room on the obverse. Enough of this edge lettering crap.

Fortunately, nobody cares about the alignment of the edge lettering........
