How do I make pics appear in the item description?

I've seen many sellers display pics in the item description instead of the area in the top, so I was curious how to do that. And I promise this will be my last eBay/PayPal question for a while. Hopefully. image

    HTML image tags. You can write your description and then click the "enter as HTML" (or something like that) tab and put in the images that way. It's similar to putting an image into a thread on these forums.

    In short, the answer is by using HTML.

    Do you use eBay's TurboLister?

    no use paying eBay for extra pictures if someone will host them for free

    what you want to do is (for running item)

    go to auction - hit the 'revise your item' link

    scroll down to
    'describe the item your selling'

    you probably entered under the 'standard' tab

    hit the 'HTML' tab

    have another window open at your source of picture
    need to get source address in html code

    some sites have spot you can right click and copy

    otherwise something like->

    <a href=" address "<>/a>

    copy and paste is the way to go as they are long

    hit the preview button and see how you did

    ....you'll need to set up an account like photobucket to host your pics, before anything. someone will chime in with all the steps for you, before long. image

    Spiff, just upload a pic to Photobucket, right click, and then click the Properties button. Then copy the location, and then when you're about to post, click the little picture icon, and then paste.

    Thanks but for some reason I can't upload from the item description. I click the Properties and copy the JPG format of the picture, but I sill can't do it.

    When you post here you copy and paste the image tag in Photobucket.
    For Ebay you'll have to copy and paste the HTML tag in photobucket.

    You'll still have plenty of frustration but after you play with it awhile you'll get it.

    And it looks the same in a listing using the direct link.

    Arghh I am literally going crazy. I have absolutely no problem posting images on here, but when I add the Properties onto my eBay item description, it won't work. Maybe because the auction's already running?

    Wheatguy1. I just made it a couple of weeks ago. I think I've got it now though, thanks to Flatwoods. image One question though, uploading pics to the item description is completely free though, right?

    For ebay you look at the html tab and in the description you use...

    <img src="then your url">

    in the HTML tab it will look like you typed it but in the regular view it will show the picture.

    At least it used to be like that.

    Yes! I have finally got it. Thanks to everyone who helped me out, and my apologies to anyone that wants to kill me right now. image According to myself, I can't change my current listings to include the pictures in the item description right?
