No, I came into possession of a coin like that in the 60's when I was a little kid and talked myself into it being a 16-D. I still have it The upper part of the D would still be visible near the tip of the lower leaf right of the E.

Using my brand new Acme BS-2000 Ultrasound copier/scanner (with optional heat / massage and fax capabilities), I was able to go beneath the wear and the crud to see what might really be hiding there. Seems as though all of the naysayers were wrong. It is a beautiful coin, well worth the $6.00 or whatever was paid for it.

Some shapes in there could be interpreted as a "D" but I don't believe this is a Denver coin.
