Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Looks like the Archie Manning card was signed by ALICE MARY...
Be careful not to get too addicted. BTW, Peyton is still a reasonably reliable TTM signer considering his stature (via PeyBack Foundation with a $5-10 donation). Eli is a lost cause.
Amos Otis was a great player and is one of the most under rated 70s player. Even in Kansas, where we act like the Missouri KC Royals are our local team, he was forgotten it seemed in the 80s.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
One of my favorite Braves in the early 90's. In my short letter, I told him I preferred his cards with him in a Braves uniform. So he sent me a 2nd card of his own in a Braves uni.
I thought you were just excited to get autographed cards back through the mail....(my bill style response)

Very nice returns Bill ... Cerone is a good TTMer and very fast!

But be warned with Cerone. If you send him more than one card, he will only sign one and return all others. So if you want more than one from him, you'll have to send out in different mailer.
Even though I dislike the Phillies, really love this one. Card was at least a PSA 9 before I sent it. Card didn't seem to suffer any damage in the PWE.
One with Braves and 3 with Celtics ... not a bad athlete! lol

Most times, Grace does not return the original cards you sent. That probably was not your card, Bill. I got the same thing back with an 88 Score traded. EX condition at best and I sent a minty one. I think he pre-signs many so its easy for him then just returns you what he has in stock. Unless of course you send him something he doesnt have in stock!
Paint pens do that uneven spreading on older cards so it's hard to tell that it's an autopen just based on that. I'm not sure how often paint pens are used for autopens either.
WOW ... what a BUST he was! Coming out of college EVERYONE thought he was THE MAN!
Still, nice TTM Bill!

Nice card to start with. Good luck to ya.

EDIT to add: He also charges $5 so I really have no idea why I sent it.
<< <i>No need to apologize. AO is one of those fine players (Ken Singleton, Chris Chambliss) that sort of flew under the radar. >>

Bill, You are so screwed. It is like an addiction that can't be fixed.

Apperantly Mr. Grace does not like returning the card savers. This card was minty fresh when it left my house.
<< <i>does harry carson's look like an auto-pen? >>
He is not known to use an auto-pen, so I would say it's not.

just the way the ink splatters around his name looks a lot like the Gretzky auto-pens I have over the years...
...could also have been the way he pressed the pen to the card
Looking for Charlie (Charley) Maxwell cards.
