I was pleasantly surprised earlier this week, when my auction purchases from Heritage were shipped to me a day earlier than expected.

I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of this forum and its members.
And how it revived my interest. Wasn't expecting it.

It's all good... just my dog might be eating better next week then I am!
table, looked through a binder of raw coins and spotted a gorgeously toned Buffalo 5c in a 2x2 marked
"38-D Choice BU $40". Came back from NGC MS66 38-D/S! I stupidly took over $200 in trade for it on
a coin I ended up not liking as well as the Buffalo, and which I later sold at a loss. Easy come, easy go.
This was many years ago by now.

Cheer up Steve. There was no requirement that the pleasant surprise be this week. Think back a little further.
his kids and included in the lot was an 1893 CC Morgan in F12 that PCGS slabbed.
My Grandfather had no idea (or so I thought) about how to collect. Yet in his hoard he had almost all different dates.

a bullion coin, not graded,
but before it was shipped,
he noticed it was spotted,
so he delayed sending it in order to get another one
for what seemed to me to be a long time
however
when it arrived
he sent an MS70 NGC instead.
that's good customer service!!
