Counterstamped Gold

Hello all,
I recently picked up a counterstamped 1852-O quarter eagle off Ebay. I have been doing dozens of seaches on the internet trying to find a like or similar stamp, but have not been successful. This coin has the same stamp on both obverse and reverse. Has anyone seen this type of counterstamp, and if so, would you happen to know the origin or where I might look to research it more?
