I can't think of any reason why I would want either, but if forced to buy one it would be the MS coin. Same answer if asked about a series I would be interested in. I have never been a fan of proofs.

As a collector who likes pretty coins, I'd take the Proof. I have no idea about mintages or investment potential between the two. The only Buffalo gold coin I have is a Proof.
