My Thanksgiving Day 1921 Peace - My Photo Posted
I know that this is a stupid question but I can't think of any other way to show my "Thanksgiving Day" auction win..........

$350 bid / $410 w/shipping and fee's

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I'd say MS62
If you're happy with it at the price you paid, then you didn't overpay.

I think you paid a fair price for it!

Tremendous strike, but it looks like a 61 to me. Nov. 20 Greysheet for a 63 is $365 Bid/$400 Ask.
I don't see any wear. Not a slider, IMO. MS63. Nice strike. Nice luster. I say you did well.
DLRC auction
another one of the same grade sold the same night, more typical strike but without the obv. field mark:

<< <i>Nice coin, worth about a brake job. >>

<< <i>I sold this one (a PCGS/CAC MS63) to a forum member for $400(?), very recently.

I would much rather bought your coin Mark!
I'm not making excuses but I needed a 1921 for my Type set and I figured I'd just take a crack at this on DLRC.
As usual, I totally forget about buyers fee's and what not's!
I forgot to add that this makes me a Green Beanie Club Member too!

Don't play the beat yourself up game, it's not like you got screwed, you paid a little much, that's all, not a whole lot too much, and it's a nice coin!

<< <i>great strike but that is no 63. 62 maybe >>
Of course PCGS and CAC got it wrong and you nailed it from those washed out images. I hope I don't hurt your feelings but I think I'll go with PCGS and CAC on this one.

At least it wasn't a $3K coin!
I like the plastic & the little green sticker but would need to see the coin.
This could be a really nice coin in hand, depending on how those facial scuffs appear, the spot on Liberty's nose and the reed mark in the field at 9 o'clock. Lighting can exaggerate them or tone them down. In this photo Liberty looks like she lost the fist fight.
I'll bet it's much prettier in hand. It appears to have a better-than-average strike.

The coin arrived today and has some really nice Luster. Much better than the MS63 I previously owned. However, the marks do give it a rough appearance.
I guess its a trade off on the grade. With a bit less luster, perhaps an MS62 but given the current luster, definitely MS63.

Better than the DLRC photos, for sure!

<< <i>I agree, MS63. I could live with it. The only thing that troubles me is the zit on the nose.

A fair price for a slider?
Slider what? Slider MS63?

My last MS63 cost me $400 raw in addition to $30 grading fees and shipping to/from PCGS.
