well i found this wheat penny dated 1945 in my change, the coin has seen use and is banged up but over all a nice coin, so into my collection it goes

  • Looks pretty nice for a circulation find. But it has a mintage of over one billion. I'm sure you'll see another in the future in change. image

maybe the mintage is in the millions but the odds of finding one in change isn't that great and most of what i find is coins from the 1960's in my change, very rarely do i find anything below 1960 in my change

Wouldn't called that coin banged up. Looks to be a nice, circulated coin with no major issues. Great find!
  • Back when I used to search rolls I'd find between 1-5 wheaties/$10. The most common date I'd come across was 1956-D. I've only found one 1955-S.

    I got a 40-S from the 7-11 Sturday night.
    I collect circulated U.S. silver

Received a '44 in change this past week.. always save them. Cheers, RickO
  • I pulled 11 wheats from a $25 box last week. Nothing earlier than 1944 and nothing special. It's just kind of cool that they're still floating around out there.

I got a 1943 in change from Wendy's a while back. That one was a shocker.
