One of my favorite possessions.
I bought this beautiful 1826 CBH from Julian at the Baltimore ANA last year.
She crossed from NGC to PCGS. image

This is not a Julian coin. Sorry.

  • Not to be rude or inconsiderate but lets all be real for a moment. He drove home from a major show with roughly a million dollars worth of inventory in his car. He stopped to get something to eat and left all the coins in his car with no alarm while he got something to eat. I dot think there is much to celibrate other then the fact that he was very very lucky to get any coins back at all. If you leave your coins in your car unattended you cant relaly be suprised that you got robbed.

Did you buy that from Julian, or does he still have it? I really loved that coin but I was hoping it would come down in price.

i did not purchase the coin but i did some research on it last summer with materials and a contact provided by Julian.......the reason i posted that coin is because it is my understanding that it was one of the stolen coins......i'm hoping it was recovered and i'm positive the consignor feels the same way

  • Is there a plug in the center of this coin? It looks like a very small one and can be seen on both sides.

Bought this 1822/1 from Julian back in July of 1993. It earned a PCGS 53 many years ago, and a green bean from CAC recently.

I stopped by Julian's table at the Philly Whitman show and he gently twisted my arm into purchasing 100 Shares of the Hard Times Era Harlem Railroad Company. image

After the Pittman Part 2 sale was concluded, I became aware that I had missed an opportunity to bid on a lot of Depression scrip from my hometown. I was so determined to locate it that I called Akers and explained my interest. They agreed to notify the buyer of the auction lot of my interest (without compensation), and within 24 hours Julian called me and offered the lot to me. A most enjoyable and rewarding experience with Julian. He's got good karma. image
