Which Buffalo would you choose for your type set?

They are both graded on old Anacs photo certificates.
Which one do you like better, and what would you grade them.

What are the grades on the holder, not that they actually matter. Getting more people to say number 2 provides nothing new. So tell us your story.
# 2 has a better strike, better luster, better eye appeal and probably ANACS MS 67/67 sooooo..
I choose # 1 because it better matches your other type set coins...
#2. 63/65.
i would agree that #2 is the superior coin judging from the pictures, but both appear to have been struck from a die(s) or die pair(s) which had erroded and was probably close to the end of its life.
With that, the four grades should be as follows:
Coin 1: 65/63
Coin 2: 65/67
I really do feel the reverse of coin 1 is inferior for the issue. And the tiny rim nicks on the obverse of Coin 2 preclude the 67.
I just know all four of these grades are going to be wrong....
but my WAG:
63/63
65/67
and yes from the pics I like #2 better.
Coin 1. MS63/63
Coin 2. MS63/65
<< <i>thanks for the compliment, Jason. is either coin an OMM?? >>
